Yes. All of our quotations are free and absolutely pressure and obligation free. We aim to respond to all quotation requests within 48 hours, but more complex quotations can take longer. We will always keep you informed of any delays though. Windows generally take longer to quote, whereas doors can generally be priced very quickly. The best way to request a door quotation is to design your own door and submit it to us online using our online door designer.

We are currently in the process of putting a showroom together. This has been quite a slow process as our teams are out installing windows and doors every day, so the showroom is a work in progress! We do have various windows, doors, furniture, colour samples, integral window blinds and brochures on display, so we are taking appointments for customers to come and take a look and ask questions. All display items are cleaned down in between visits, however customers are politely requested to sanitise their hands upon arrival and maintain some distance between any members of staff. In our industry, the word "cheap" refers to substandard products. We therefore do NOT sell cheap products! Instead we source some of the most respected products on the market and provide them at very competitive rates. In fact, we only provide the industries most respected and leading products. These include REHAU uPVC Windows and solid core composite doors from Endurance Doors.

It is quite likely that we can beat any like-4-like quotation you have received. The quickest way to find this out is to send us a copy of your quotation. This will result in a much faster answer. In most cases where we have been unable to beat a quotation, the initial quotation has been of a lesser quality than the quality products that we supply. Like-4-Like applies to the products (including quality, security and energy efficiency) as well as VAT, Guarantees and CERTASS/FENSA certification. It's quite obvious that a Man with a Van will cost less than us, as they have no premises, staff wages or other high overheads to afford. They most likely do not offer Insurance Backed Guarantees or Certification and it's quite unlikely that they declare their full income, pay as much in tax or VAT. Many use substandard products as well, as larger and more premium suppliers prefer to deal with proper business, like ours. Pay less, pay twice is often the unfortunate truth, so we would always recommend paying a little extra money for a lot better service, and real protection into an uncertain future.

This varies based on the product you are purchasing and the colours required. For example, white uPVC Windows have a minimum lead time of 1 week from order, most Composite Doors have a lead time of 2 weeks from order, and certain more complex items cam take 2-3 weeks from order. Our official completion time from order to installation is 3-6 weeks, however we complete over 99% of our orders within 3-4 weeks. *UPDATE* Coronavirus and Brexit have led to drastic changes for all manufacturers across the United Kingdom. This is affecting all companies offering premium products across the UK. Where we had previously quoted 3-6 weeks from Order to Installation, and hit an average of 3-4 weeks, we are now having to advise 6-10 weeks for most products. We make a profit when your job is completed, so we aim to complete all installations as quickly as possible. With this in mind, we do aim to achieve 4-6 weeks for the majority of orders, by regularly liaising with our manufacturers for a faster production time.

Our preferred method is via Bank Transfer. We also accept all major Credit/Debit Cards. Finance is available from 9.9% APR Representative (subject to status). More information relating to Finance can be found here.

Homeowners are not advised to pay in full for their order, so we do not offer a discount for doing so. Deposits are a minimum of 25% and are due on order (your order is not accepted until we have received your signed Order Form and Deposit). Final balance is due on the day of Installation. Trade orders are generally due to be paid in full on order unless otherwise agreed.

This is a question we are asked on an unbelievably regualr basis! Yes - every Door is priced and supplied with everything you should expect from a door - the door "slab", the frame, glass, handles, hinges etc. When we Supply & Install any product(s) they are provided with everything required, all trims, fixings, silicone etc as well as a 10 year Insurance Backed Guarantee and CERTASS certification. Our Endurance Doors are provided with a FREE UPGRADE to a 3* High Security Ultion( WXM Locking Cylinder, offering anti-snap, anti-bump, anti-pick and anti-drill protection, as well as an additional £1000 break-in guarantee! If you are buying Supply Only from us, we do not supply fixings, silicone or CERTASS certifications etc and you are responsible for providing full surveyed dimensions for us to order from, including Frame Extenders / Add-Ons and External Cill details. If required, we can perform your Survey for you for a "per item" fee.

As standard we offer a 10 year Installation Guarantee and a 10 year Manufacturers Guarantee, both of which are covered by a 10 year Insurance Backed Guarantee by HomePro (membership number 582008). Once your order has been completed we will register your IBG (Insurance Backed Guarantee) online and you will be contacted directly by HomePro, usually via telephone. You then activate your IBG by answering a short survey on our performance.

We try to keep up with the times, and FENSA has been around for such a long time that we prefer a more modern equivalent - CERTASS. Both schemes exist to allow us to self certify our work in accordance with Building Regulations. This means that all work we do will be fully certified, making the sale of your property much easier and less expensive in the future. If you have work done that does not comply with Building Regs, you would be liable to pay your local council to arrange for a building surveyor to check the work before you can sell yoru house, which can be around £250 to register and as much as £500 for the inspection.

We admit that we may have made a bad decision when we decided to name the company Composite Doors Cardiff however, we didn't ever expect to become a household name so quickly or to do as well as we have so quickly. Not only do we provide the best uPVC, insulated and timber or solid core composite doors available, but we also offer aluminium windows & doors, uPVC windows and more. We are happy to work on residential properties, commercial properties and are also actively involved with work on new build properties around South Wales. To rename the company at this stage would be a drawn out and expensive task, besides which - you're here reading this now and you know we don't just offer doors!

There is no such thing! This is saldy an advertising scam that we see a lot of, especially on Social Media. The companies that do this basically sell you a 10p mix for £1, then "give you grant funding" of 80p to help you out, whilst still selling the 10p Mix at twice its value.
